Local Plumbing Company Hams it up for the Community

Apex Plumbing, Rooter and Septic Inc. Supports Communities 4th of July Event for Its Eighth Year

Red Feather Lakes, Colorado – Apex Rooter, Plumbing and Septic Service owner, George Langel is committed to showing his businesses support for the Red Feather Lakes area and the surrounding communities by participating, each year, in the fourth of July parade.  This is the eighth year that Apex has participated in the annual parade and Langel feels that it is an important way to help support the local community.

“We participate in the parade because for one, it is a party,” Said Langel.  “All the locals come out to join in the fun and they get to see a side of my business that they don’t normally get to witness. They see that not only is Apex working in the community each day, but we also live here and care about the people and communities we serve.”  Langel has a home in both the beautiful Red Feather Lakes area as well as a home in Fort Collins.

As expected, by the community members who attend the parade, this year’s float, once again, did a great job of taking a potentially taboo subject and having a lot of fun with the business.  “We just like to have fun with it, I mean it is a part of life!” Langel said.

It all started with the Apex lead cart, a favorite with the local kids, as it is the candy cart.  Directly followed by two big and bright red Apex pump trucks, all polished up and ready to be shown off.  The “grand finale”, was the Apex work truck pulling a trailer with Langel and his family, comfortably enjoying the view… all the while fishing in two toilets at the back of the float - for what, we’re afraid to ask.

The fourth of July parade has been an annual event for Apex over the last eight years and one that the whole company looks forward to.  All Apex employees and their families participate.  “The parade gives Apex employees and their families the opportunity to meet the community that they support and also time to spend with co-workers and their families outside of the office,” Said Langel. “I do the cooking and they enjoy a great day in the mountains and a night full of fireworks with their family and friends.”
